Breaking is as much a sub-culture or performance art as it is a sport. Probably even more so, really. To dedicate a life to performing is a choice that demands total belief and commitment. To make that choice successful a person has to be an artist, performer, self motivator, courageous, and community minded. That’s Phil Wizard.
Committing to the break world in 2009, Phil built his reputation as a taste maker and progressive force. Leading with raw strength and his effortless, affable demeanour he has built a reputation as a top talent that lives breaking in it’s truest form. Now firmly established as a leader in the community with wins at the highest level and a defined style emulated by newcomers, his next goal is to guide the “sport” through its introduction to the world stage at the 2024 Olympic Games.
